5th Line Welcomes Three New Members to its Financial Services Team

5th Line is thrilled to announce the addition of three new team members, Adam Sanderson, Chris Whitten, and Josh Moss to our financial services team. Adam, Chris, and Josh bring a wealth of experience and skills to our already strong team.

We are confident that these new team members will contribute greatly to the continued success of our financial services team, and we look forward to working with them in the coming months.

Adam Sanderson

Adam has a business career spanning over 20 years working as a financial consultant in various disciplines, including: FP&A, restructuring, M&A, treasury, corporate finance, and corporate strategy. He has vast experience working with executives and private equity leadership to drive finance and value-based initiatives, including M&A integrations, operational and financial improvement, and financial system implementation.

Over his career, Adam has developed many types of financial models, including: cash flow models to drive the restructuring and cash management efforts of large corporations, accounting financial models to value inventory of a publicly traded company, KPI models to assess profitability and operational efficiency, and built financial databases and other tools to drive corporate finance initiatives, including financial reporting, revenue recognition and lease valuation.
Chris Whitten

Chris brings 25 years of financial and accounting leadership experience. He serves as the primary finance/accounting resource for a variety of technology-based start-ups, SaaS and professional services, assisting in the raising of over $75M in equity and debt and over $475M in client exits. His client services include budgeting, modeling, systems selection and setup, audit preparation, M&A diligence, fundraising diligence, process implementation, and staff hiring and training.

Previously, Chris was Vice President at Venture Advisors, where he provided fractional finance and accounting support to angel-backed and venture-backed clients. He served as Vice President of Finance & Administration of Spartan Race, Inc.; Senior Director of Finance & Controller of Tributes, Inc.; Controller of Jackpot Rewards, Inc.; Finance Manager and Controller of NameMedia, Inc.; and Accounting Manager of Lycos, Inc. Chris started his accounting career at State Street Bank & Trust Company.

Josh Moss

Josh has over 20 years of experience in finance and 12 years in subscription software. He has spent time at Salesforce, Proofpoint, and Druva and consulted with startups E2Open, Actian, Kilopass, and Brightedge, before moving to become head of finance at CipherTrace, a Series A startup.

While at CipherTrace, the company raised a $27 million Series B and was acquired by MasterCard in 2021. Most recently, Josh was Vice President of Finance at MasterCard, helping to integrate CipherTrace into the MasterCard system.
